LOOP Micro is my new favorite phone movement by bike

Mounty on the bike is a regular part of my life in Amsterdam in the round since 2008, when I got my first phone with built -in GPS navigation and turning. I used dozens of mountains, honestly until they were lost, broken or stolen, or there was something better.

I could save the tone of money and harassment if Micro Mount Mount 49.95 was available years ago.

Over the past few weeks, how much is the ultra -compact microint. Unpacking and screwing into the stem of my wheel took all three minutes. Then he just sits discreetly, from the way until I expand his jaws to help me lead me to unknown places. He kept securely my iPhone 15 Pro on all types of terrain on and off-road with or without my existing phone box.

I attached the Micro Mount loop to my mountain round to try its limits. It is designed and recommended for the use of roads, but also commissioners must scalance occasional curbs or survive in a pothole. Mount has never lost her adhesion as he heads down by harsh disposable trails, picking the roots of trees.

When I got out of the wheel, I literally managed to kick the phone into the dirt. These spring jaws with rubber will safely hold your device on asphalt, paved and masonry, but they are not a protection match that you get from something like a quad bike and mount.

The loop micro movement is designed to be installed semi -spectrically on the trunk cap and for this purpose it is supplied with an extra long screw and an Allen key in the box. I like that the mountain can be guided into the portrait of Eith or the landscape orientation. I do not like the placement of the phone in the holder requires these jaws to separate two hands.

I also like that you can see a removable screw when the holder is closed and that the whole contribution will disappear in the wheel lines. This looks not only aesthetically, but also helps to pay attention to thieves. Many urban and commuting wheels and electronic bikes, but are definitely not equipped with these standard stems caps. Otherwise, the micro move can be connected to the controls using the removable O-ring set.

Loop says Micro Mount “fits all the main phones”, including the current crop of heavy ultra-max phones. A specific sheet says it supports the widths of the phone and the case up to 85 mm and depths up to 14.5 mm, which should make it the largest line of iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S.

My only concern is how well these spring jaws will work over time. The metal mountain is heavy in hand and does not feel cheap, but we amterdammers will leave our bikes parked outside the whole year, where there are exhibitions of rain, sun and IC and suffer a lot of abuse during a studied stand. Loop says the mountain is “built to withstand the elements and ensure the durability and reliability in any weather”.

Surprisingly, the micro-loop is capable of its size and has become my new favorite installation for AAA-FORGE-IT installation for road use. Its non -figurative design avoids the attention of thieves and the holder disappears into the silhouette of the UEDED bike.
